Islamic Arts Museum & National Mosque

When you are living in a Muslim country, you definitely see your share of Mosques. 

This is one that welcomes visitors and was very interesting to see. 

You have to remove your shoes and  women have to put on a robe and covering on your head before you go inside. 

 

Inside the Islamic Arts Museum were replicas of many of the major mosques

throughout the world.  We didn't take pictures inside the museum.

Another new food to try!  It is called Schwarma which is flatbread filled with roasted chicken and rolled up like a burrito. 

The lime drink served in a plastic bag adds a nice touch, don't you think?
