A Very Merry Christmas from the JB Branch

Our JB Branch had their Christmas Party on Saturday, December 23.
We had such a great turnout with many recent converts and non-members joining us.
This was a very special evening for all.  Merry Christmas!!

The Elders helped with an impromptu Nativity.
No costumes or narration, just each person reading their part.
They enjoyed this very much.

Lots of delicious food catered by the restaurant where we got the amazing burgers.
They had special western food for this party.  It was pretty amazing and extremely delicious.
Sister Dada and her daughter Rachel are so beautiful.
It is so fun to get to know these wonderful Saints here in Malaysia.

Santa made his visit and did not disappoint.
He is a convert of about three months.
They have found their way into the hearts of the members of the branch
and seem right at home here.

Sister Jenny and her sweet little daughter.

Ben has been such a great friend and help to us here in JB.
We will miss his laugh, and of course him.

Elayne is a student from our English class.
She said she enjoyed the party very much.

So much fun was had by all!

Merry Christmas from Elder & Sister Lamb
and the entire JB Branch.

Visiting the Magnificent Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple

The is truly one of the most amazing things that I have seen here in Malaysia.
It is a Hindu Temple which had very humble beginnings, but was lovingly transformed into this magnificent shrine.

The even have statues of Jesus Christ and Mother Theresa

It is so beautiful, breathtaking, and unbelievable, it can't be described in words.
The entire temple is adorned with cut glass mosaics which took only one year to complete.  That is itself is remarkable.

What better way to finish such a great day, but with an All American burger and fries and milkshakes.  Mine was an avocado milkshake, and I don't think I will try that again, but the burgers were great.

Merry Christmas from the Masai Branch

 Masai Branch Christmas Party
The Young Men were in charge of games and they were so much fun.
Everyone had a good time waiting for the late comers.

Mary and Joseph welcoming the baby Jesus.

Shepherds and wisemen worship Him.
The angle proclaims Peace on earth Goodwill toward men.

The was the first time doing a Nativity for many of these children
They did an amazing job.  Some of them are investigators
and two others are recent converts.
I love working with the Primary children and will really miss them.

Everyone enjoyed the food and friendship.
This Branch loves to be together.
We had over 70 people to the party.  Yeah!!

The children are patiently waiting their turn to visit with Santa
and get their small gift.

The sisters need their turn.
Everyone loves Santa

Looks like everyone had a great time.
Merry Christmas everyone!!

Primary children are making Christmas cards for Sister Taha.
They got quite creative.

The Taha family came to our home to call Sister Taha for Christmas.
What a fun thing to be a part of.
We love Sister Taha so much and of course, we love her family too!
